When conducting business activities both domestically and overseas, Mitsui-Soko Co., Ltd., its executives and employees are required to take the proper course of action as a good corporate citizen accepted by society and based on a sense of morality. They must not commit any illegal or dishonest acts. Furthermore, they are required to respect the cultures and customs of the respective countries in their overseas activities.

We endeavor to enhance and establish awareness of compliance among every executive and employee and aim to create a system that ensures their compliance with laws and regulations. More specifically, we have established a Compliance Committee that directly reports to the Board of Directors, and we have been involved in education and training to increase awareness regarding compliance; confirmation of whether appropriate responses are made to compliance-related issues, how responses have been made to matters relating to non-compliant business activities and their outcomes; and the handling of reporting, consultations, and claims regarding internal issues related to non-compliance.

Every executive and employee of our group companies will promote effective operations for the maintenance of sound work environments and execution of orderly business activities that are in accordance with social rules.
