Registration of foreign ship nationalities and establishment of local subsidiaries overseas
Mitsui-Soko assists with all required procedures, whether it is the establishment of a local overseas subsidiary or the completion of a ship's registration. We have a track record of having completed approximately 4,000 ship registrations and establishment of about 5,000 local overseas subsidiaries.
Sale of Vessels
Based on the contract, Mitsui-Soko acts as an agent to handle the creation
of documentation required and to obtain certificates. In addition, we carry
out required procedures for the overseas sale or transfer of customer's
ships of Japanese registry.
After-service
Using our original computer management system, Mitsui-Soko provides notices
for the payment of annual taxes, renewal of certificates of ship's nationality,
etc., as well as support for corporate management and the customer's vessel.
Furthermore, we have trustworthy maritime affairs attorneys and agents in major shipping regions, such as Panama, New York, London, Hong Kong, and Cyprus. Mitsui-Soko has also been appointed exclusive Japanese agent by the Maritime Affairs Authority of the Bahamas.
